B-E-A-Utiful

Though I adore Kandee I feel quite strongly that todays idea of beauty if very much so distorted. Males tend to believe we look exactly the same without makeup as we do with makeup. Let me tell ya... this is not the case. I recently started to go to school without the security of makeup and i can hear people talk about how much worse I look without it. It does not bother me as much as i thought it would. My reason for not wearing makeup is that my foundation (Revlon color stay) gave me pretty bad acne and i want to get rid of it.

I think being beautiful without makeup is a pretty old concept. Easy to understand, but society's quest for perfection makes this a hard thing to except. I love my one dimple (yes i only have one on my right check) by others standards this is probably not to attractive, but i don't care.

I hear by boycott makeup of any sorts I won't be wearing it. So get use to it. I'm going to be the natural me and i will only try to make the natural me more beautiful (as in getting rid of this acne and loosing a bit of weight). I don't care if others follow me i'm only interested in being more comfortable with the skin I'm in without any mask.
